Alleene Dean - Early Toddler/Mother's Day Out Teacher

​​Hello! I am excited to join Play School Central's staff this year as a toddler teacher! I find it very rewarding to watch just how quickly toddlers develop new skills as they play and interact with adults and other children. I have worked in Christian schools as an elementary teacher for 23 years. I worked as a teacher in an Early Intervention program for 7 years. I earned my bachelor's degree in elementary education from Messiah College. My master's degree  in Special Education with a concentration in infant development is from Shippensburg University.

I enjoy traveling, reading, kayaking, and baking in my free time. I love to spend family time with my husband, children. and grandchildren.

Hi! I’m Madeline, and I’m so excited to be joining the PlaySchool Central team. I recently graduated from Chambersburg Area School District in 2026 and plan to study Early Childhood Education in college. During high school, I had the opportunity to work with preschool students through the Tiny Trojans program, where I discovered just how much I love helping young children learn and grow. I can’t wait to get to know all of the wonderful children and families.

Hello! In my 25+ years of experience in early childhood education I have come to believe that children are curious, capable individuals who learn best through child-led play and exploration. I am passionate about creating a nurturing and engaging environment where children feel empowered to ask questions, take risks and discover the world around them. Through hands-on experiences, sensory exploration and meaningful interactions, I support each child's unique development while fostering creativity, confidence and a lifelong love of learning. My goal is to inspire children to become confident learners while building a strong foundation for future success!
